one of the best memories from london and one of priceless gifts for my birthday -
PRE-RAFAELITES exhibition in Tate Modern.
my sister and i dreamed of it since we saw BBC 'desperate romantics' series
which i highly recommend to watch.
a copy of 'the beloved' by dante gabriel rossetti hanging in my room |
we spent two brilliant hours among original
'Ophelia' by Millais, Hunt's greatest 'Shadow of Death' and my favorite stunning
'The Beloved' by Rossetti. Oh, what an era!
great selection at the best shopping place i found - the LIBERTY store near oxford street -
it's not that scarily huge as harrods and not as sold out as selfridges.
i was impressed by the great vintage section on 3rd floor -
you can find cutest old chanel bags, original dior accessories from 90s and
gorgeous gatsby-style evening gowns. absolutely unique and glamourous approach to vintage!
lobsters in liberty's window |
u can also find charming tableware on 4th floor - from miniature porcelain tea sets and cake stands,
reminding of marie-antoinette, to pop-art print trays and minimalist glass.

bohemian soho seemed
to me very parisian and naughty in day light and totally vulgar and hot in night.
if u've never been to THE BOX cabaret in soho (beloved by prince harry, kate moss
and alexa chung), you will never get what i mean by 'their wild shows',
ugly and fascinating at the same time. unfortunately,
photos are strictly forbidden inside (nothing else :D)
